We all have mental health, in the same way we have physical health. Both change throughout our lives and, like our bodies, our minds can become unwell.
Mental health problems affect 1 in 4 people, yet too often people are afraid to talk about their experiences because they fear it will affect their jobs or relationships. Your help is needed to help聽break the silence and end the stigma.
will take place on Thursday 4 February and the aim is to get as many people as possible across England talking about mental health. By joining together on one day, we can break the silence that often surrounds mental health, and show that talking about this once-taboo issue doesn鈥檛 need to be difficult.
With tens of thousands of individuals and hundreds of organisations speaking out together at the same time, we can make a huge impact and show that it really is time to talk.听
The effects of poor mental health are as real as a broken limb, even though there isn鈥檛 a plaster cast to show for it. Common mental health problems including stress, anxiety, depression, and are one of the biggest challenges of the modern age.
