The is an opportunity for academics to share their experiences, bring together examples of technology enhanced learning in action, whilst providing additional toolkit content and encourage new ideas.
During February 2016 we launched the Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) Toolkit for academics across BU to provide a central hub of information relating to ways in which technology can be used to enhance your learning.
How can you get involved?
We鈥檇 like you to for lecturers who really inspire you with the way they use technology to deliver their lectures and the overall experience of learning they provide. You can use whatever media your prefer e.g. a short video, a written narrative or a couple of PowerPoint slides. Competition entries will be judged based on the application of the TEL Toolkit themes of:

Co-creation & collaboration 鈥� Co-creation is the development of student-led, collaborative initiatives leading to co-created outputs

Assessment 鈥� an on-going process of establishing and measuring the expected outcomes of student learning, and then assessing achievement against these

Flipped classrooms 鈥� is a pedagogic model where the typical structure of a lecture followed by self-study is reversed or flipped

Feedback & feedforward 鈥� providing information to students to develop themselves and their learning experience

Blended learning 鈥� is a programme of learning in which a student learns through a variety of mediums and methods

Student engagement 鈥� focuses on how we can improve student learning results by improving motivation, interest and curiosity in the learning provided.
