Both BU and your Students’ Union at BU (SUBU) are running a host of events and activities this year to celebrate International Women’s Day (8 March) and Women’s History Month (March). Find out how to get involved below.

Understanding what it means to be a leader is important. Even more so in the 21st century, especially as the workplace evolves to accommodate new expectations, motivations and technologies. Join three speakers who share their own experiences of leadership in 21^st century.

SUBU’s Book Fairies will be out in force hiding fiction, non-fiction and poetry books by women around Talbot Campus and the Bournemouth Gateway Building for World Book Day!

Thursday 7 March, 6pm – 8pm - Student Centre, Talbot Campus
To coincide with World Book Day, join SUBU to talk about books and feminism over a glass of bubbly. You’ll also have to opportunity to make your own zine reflecting on being a woman.
