BU have been funded by the British Council to work with Universiti sains Malaysia to share academics', postgraduate researchers' and students' work on sustainability. Our project is called SUNRISE. This first event showcases academics' sustainability projects, with a particular interest in five key themes, each of which supports one or more of the UN Sustainability Development Goals (SDGs):
Food nutrition and eating behaviour (SDG 2, 3, and 12)
Gender equality (SDG 5)
Tourism and hospitality (SDGs 3, 10, 12)
Sustainability marketing and communication (all SDGs)
Sustainability and employability (SDG 4, 5 and 8).
Join us either online or at Talbot Campus from聽8am - 10am on Wednesday 24 April聽to listen to a small selection of sustainability related projects from USM and BU academics. Collaborate with students studying at Universiti sains Malaysia, be inspired and make long-lasting professional connections.
